The Return of the Olympic book

This book details the history (so far!) on King Alfred Buses 1950 Leyland Olympic HR40, registration JAA 708, from its time in service in Winchester to being found in 1990 and bought by the Friends of King Alfred Buses, recovered from Ireland and restored over many years to its completion in 2012.

Subsequently, this bus was in a building fire that destroyed nine vehicles in December 2023, mostly buses, and was the only one that stood any chance of being rebuilt, a huge project now being undertaken.
